Second Mini has arrived!

Yay!  The second mini to my swap partner, Marissa, in USA took only 6 days to get to her.....and here it is

Mini Found Its Way Home

Yay, the little mini quilt that got lost in the post has found its way home to my swap partner.  And this is what it looks like.

Because it took so long to get to its destination in USA (about 6 weeks), I really thought that it had got lost, so I made another mini and sent it off last week.  Hopefully that will get there this week.

So....I have made her another one quite different from the first one and posted it off to her today.  Fingers crossed she should receive it in the next 7 days  (I  hope!).  Here's a sneak peek...

Name Game Swap My Quilt from USA

When I got home today from Friendship Quilters the postie delivered me a parcel.  When I opened it I found a gorgeous mini quilt from Christine.  If you're looking Christine, 'Thank you so much, I absolutely love it'.


And here it is................

Blast Off!!

Here's the fabric postcard I sent to Maggi.  I transfered a photo to fabric, hot foiled some of the white spots and then used irridescent glitter glue to highlight all the fireworks.

New Swap

I've joined a new Name Game Swap here and only involves a mini quilt with your swap partner's name on it.  So looking forward to this.

The only thing I've made that had a name on it was a postcard size name for my Mum's walking frame when she was in the care home.
